What you get when you adopt a herring:
1. You can name your adopted river herring (within reason!)
2. You will get updates on your river herring's activity in the river
3. We will come to your club, organization, or school to tell you the results of our research and what your river herring did.
How do I Adopt a Herring?
This part of our research is over, but you can still find ways to participate in river herring restoration by clicking on Get Involved. We are grateful to all of the adopters and participants, who helped us raise over $2,500 to purchase radio telemetry tags and equipment. The river herring study was a success thanks to your contributions, and we look forward to sharing our results with you. Stay tuned to see what happens next!
